The poem I choose is called "My Special Diet." This poem is one of the best poems I have ever read. It's very funny. It's funny because his or her diet is all food that has lots of calories in it. They will never loose a pound because if you keep on gainning more and more calories you will never loose any pounds. It's also very funny at the end. He or she says that I still love my diet. He or she will keep on loving the diet because those are foods everyone loves. That person should start eating healthier.
My Shadow
The author is trying to say something in his poem "My Shadow." He is trying to say that when the sun is up where ever you go your shadow will fallow you. A shadow is your outline. When it is early in the morning and the sun is not up yet and you go outside you will not see your shadow. You can't because you need the sun or the light to have your shadow. What the author is trying to say is that the light will make your shadow do many things like grow taller or shorter. He was trying to say thease things in a funny way. I loved this poem very much.
